The module is energized through thin RED (+) and BLACK (GND) cables, the power can be between 4.5V to 30V DC.
The yellow cable will be placed on the load to be measured, since this will give us the information on the voltage consumption.
The thick RED and BLACK cables are to be able to measure the current consumption, which must be connected in series with the system to be measured, that is, the BLACK cable will receive the current from the system and the RED wire will output the current consumption of the system.
Depending on the power supply, a different connection method is performed.
1.Connection diagram using the same power supply for the voltmeter
If the circuit which we want to measure has a main source with an output voltage of 4 – 30V, we can feed the logic part of our voltmeter – ammeter directly from the main source without risk of damaging it.
