KY-026 Flame Sensor
The KY-026 module is a flame sensor that uses an infrared LED receiver to detect flame wavelengths in a range of 760nm to 1100nm.
The outputs of this sensor are digital and analog and it includes a potentiometer for adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor.
The KY-026 Flame Sensor module is useful for fire detection system, as a safety measure.

The sensor is especially sensitive to flame, but can react to ordinary light (adjust sensitivity as appropriate).
How does the Flame Sensor work?
The KY-026 flame sensor is equipped with a photodiode that is sensitive to the spectral range of light created by an open flame.
The flame sensor detects wavelengths ranging from 760nm to 1100nm in the infrared spectrum.
After a flame is detected, the digital output (DO) line will turn HIGH.
The analog output (AO) will provide a direct measurement of the reading.
It is not recommended that this device comes into contact with a flame as the plastic is likely to melt or burn. The flame sensor should be kept at a reasonable distance from the flame source.
