12V WATER SOLENOID VALVE
The Solenoid Electrovalve is a valve that allows the passage or closing of the flow of water.
it is of the Normally Closed type and it incorporates a 1/2″ rock at each of its ends, in the same way it has two terminals to enter a voltage of 12VDC.
When 12VDC is applied to both terminals, the valve opens and water can pass through, requiring a minimum pressure of 0.02 MPa (3 PSI).
The Electrovalve is useful for projects where it is required to control the passage of air and/or water in a system.

How does the Solenoid valve work?
The solenoid valve has two parts:
the solenoid and the plastic body.
The solenoid is an electromagnet that, when energized, moves along with the valve diaphragm and allows the passage of the fluid.
The valve is held open as long as the solenoid is energized.
When it is not powered, a spring is responsible for returning the valve to its rest position.
The valve body is made of plastic with male threads on both sides of 1/2″ NPS type (straight).
Warnings when using the Solenoid Valve
If we directly connect the microcontroller to the valve, it is certain that we will damage our circuit ,For which it must be used with a Mosfet and/or Relay.
