BMS stands for the battery management system.
This is a BMS with a 22V voltage rating to charge 6 cells of Li-ion cells.
The module comes with overcharge protection, over-discharge protection, short circuit, and over current protection features.
It is mostly used for solar lighting, for dedicated 18650 battery packs.
