Infrared motion detection sensor module SR602
Description
The Passive Infrared Sensor (PIR) sensor module is used for motion detection.
It is often referred to as “PIR”, “Pyroelectric”, “Passive Infrared” and “IR Motion” sensor.
The module has an on-board pyroelectric sensor, conditioning circuitry and a dome-shaped Fresnel lens.
The sensor works on the principle of measuring the level of infrared radiation emitted by living beings.
The SR602 may also react to other objects that emit heat, especially if their temperature changes.
The SR602 sensor can be easily integrated into circuits based on Arduino, AVR, ARM and other microcontrollers.
Application
Human movement detection
alarm
security system
Mining and agricultural automatic equipment
toys
Home Appliances
